The essence of mathematics is its freedom.

Vision

We teach to instill a sense of appreciation for mathematics in people of all backgrounds. We believe the beauty of mathematics can be treasured by everyone, not just by professors in academia.

How?

Our philosophy will be realized by tailoring each tutoring session to the needs of the student. While we envision an ideal future where every student loves math as much as we do, we recognize students may have other passions more worthy of their time than math.

Our sessions together will reflect each student's specific curiosities. Thus, the tone of our discussions can range from the theoretical loftiness of proving the infinitude of the primes to the practical utilitarianism of knowing which formula to use when solving trigonometric equations.

In either case, our ultimate goal is to convince each student that mathematics is not the arcane, formulaic discipline that only the mathematically gifted can master; on the contrary, mathematics is simply the art of explanation using a framework of symbols and a skill we all possess - common sense.
